Dr. Kennedy joined the EmeraMed board in June of 2017. He has a BA in Comparative Biochemistry and Physiology from the University of Kansas and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri. He is the past president of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology.
Dr. Kennedy has been an outspoken critic of mercury fillings used in dentistry since the early 1980’s when it became clear to him that certain people simply cannot tolerate even minute exposures to mercury. He has lectured throughout the world to physicians and dentists about the risks to dental personnel from occupational exposure to mercury.
Following his 30-years of dental practice he retired and began a new career in film making and is currently working on a film titled Compassionate Journey about Dr. Haley’s efforts to return the mercury chelator Irminix to the public. He credits Dr. Haley discovery with his own recovery from high mercury levels as well as his wife’s recovery from Parkinson’s.
